The Guild was formed in 1971 and is recognised throughout the world as the premier society for the promotion of aviation art. It brings together the worlds of art and aviation in a common interest group and stages exhibitions and events throughout the UK.
The Guild has affiliation links with societies and associations in the USA, Canada, Australia, France, the Netherlands and Italy.
Our Annual 'Aviation Paintings of the Year' Exhibition, held in London each July and open to both members and non-members, is the highlight of the Guild's year and attracts hundreds of visitors from all over the world. The Annual is eagerly anticipated by buyers looking for an opportunity to purchase new original works by distinguished artists and rising stars. Many awards and prizes are presented to contributing artists.

The Guild's 42nd Open Annual 'Aviation Paintings of the Year' Summer Exhibition will be opened at The Mall Galleries by The Right Honourable Michael Portillo on Monday 16th July and will run until Sunday 22nd July 2012. Click here for more details.
